This is a place where I wanted to put my new photography style which im calling ethereal, i sat down at my desk for hours, editing many different ways as i wanted to change up my style and gravitate away from my regular as its similar to many peoples style, happy to have come up with something unique.

This ethereal photo shoot was done from a previous set of photos i had already done with Megan here, finding a new editing style has been very fun for me as it let's my work become that little bit more enjoyable to do.
these photographs were taken at elvaston castle in derby on a fairly sunny day, not too cold but not over bearing weather, as you can see Megan here is wearing her black sweater which went very well with the backdrop.
this ethereal editing was fairly simple to do, it involves a lot of Gaussian blur and image manipulation along with using color and light in different ways, coming up with my own style that u haven't really seen around is a big step in the right direction for me.
very fun shoot and editing over all!

to update my portfolio for autumn coming up i asked Emma if she was interested in a free photo-shoot, i wanted to capture her portrait at golden hour so we stayed until sundown at 6 pm.
this ethereal photo shoot was done at wollaton hall in Nottingham which has many beautiful settings, it's also the famous castle where a batman movie was filmed which is very interesting.
my favorite color when photographing is green, especially the background as i shoot in nature but i asked Emma to wear something green to see if i was able to work with the 2 colors and if the would clash, it turned out surprisingly good!
